How it works

The professional-industrial reverse osmosis MO 6500 is used for water desalination. Incoming water should be of low or medium hardness. It comprises a metal base, a pre-filter in a housing that is highly resistant to pressure, a powerful water pump, an osmosis membrane, flow and treatment controllers and, of course, all necessary accessories for connection.

It functions as follows: First, the water enters the solids filter where soil, mud and rust are removed. At this point, you can pour special softening liquids into the water if hardness is above normal. The powerful water pump then pushes water into the osmosis membrane where it is separated into pure and discharged water. Clean water goes straight to either a water tank or to direct use. Discharged water is not directly thrown into the sewer though. Through special monitors, the system retains an amount in order to adjust the pressure in the membrane housing. Then, it tries to recycle it, passing it through the membrane once again. Recycled water will move on with the rest of the pure water, while the water that cannot be filtered even after recycling is finally rejected in the sewer.

When the system is shut down due to reverse water pressure, then it automatically performs a cleaning of the membrane before re-using it. The built-in measuring instruments show pure water temperature, conductivity, pressures, etc.
