The Hanna HI98103 digital meter can accurately measure the pH in your water.
It works with the push of a button, displaying the result on the LCD screen of the meter, offering an autonomy of approximately 900 hours.
Package includes protective cap, calibration screwdriver, batteries and instructions for use.
The meter automatically turns off if you don't use it for 8 minutes to save battery.
Digital counter setting
1. Remove the cap from the meter.
2. Immerse the electrode in the pH 7.01
solution
3. Once the reading on the meter screen is stable, with the screwdriver you will find in the package, screw or unscrew the screw until the reading on the screen reads 7.0.
4. Immerse the electrode in the pH 4.01
solution
5. Once the reading on the meter screen is stable, use the screwdriver to tighten or loosen the screw until the reading on the screen reads 4.0.

Useful Information:

- The concept and scale of pH was invented in 1909 by Danish chemist Sörensen (Sören Peter Lauritz Sörensen), head of the chemical department of the Carlsberg laboratory.
- H pH scale ranges from 0 to 14 and is widely used to determine the acidity of a solution. Solutions for which the pH value is less than 7 are characterized as acidic, while solutions with a pH greater than 7 are characterized as alkaline[1]. Finally, solutions with pH=7 are called neutral.
