With the double water filter for your refrigerator, you have double protection against water and ice cubes.

It consists of an active coconut carbon filter and a filter with Ultra-filtration membranes with a permeability of 0.01μm. So it works in 2 stages. You can, if you wish, upgrade the existing radiator filter by selecting this one. 

It reduces sediment, sludges, rust, chlorine, chloroform, microbes and many other chemicals.

In a few words...

At the "heart" of this fridge filter, there is a hollow fiber membrane filter (or Ultra Filtration). Here, the most "difficult" elements are removed, such as bacteria, coliforms, micro-organisms, microscopic impurities and many other harmful substances without removing magnesium, calcium and the rest of the minerals necessary for the human body. This filter contains over 520 billion tiny pores that effectively remove 99.99% of all bacteria, turbidity as well as pesticides (VOC's - Volatile Organic Combounds).
