Below, we delve into the specifics of each certification, offering a more detailed look at how Primato Hellas stands out in the water treatment industry.

ISO 9001:2015 Certification
Primato's quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, covering the scope of "Management of manufacturing, assembly, trading & distribution of water filters." This certification demonstrates Primato's commitment to maintaining high-quality processes and systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in all aspects of its operations. It means that Primato applies a systematic approach, manages its processes, and ensures consistency in the quality of its products and services.
ELOT EN ISO 14898 Certification
Several of Primato's water filters are certified according to the new European standard ELOT EN ISO 14898, specifically designed for water filters. This European standard sets the benchmark for the performance, safety, and reliability of water filtration. Achieving this certification means that Primato's water filters meet the highest European requirements for water treatment, ensuring they provide safe, clean, and high-quality water.
Beyond the substances they reduce, the filters are also tested for their mechanical properties (e.g., pressure resistance, pressure drop based on water flow, etc.). It is the only standard that comprehensively tests the entire equipment (device + carbon filter) and not just the replacement activated carbon filter.
Unlike simple water analyses that measure the reduction rate of contaminants when the filter is still new, the EN ISO 14898 standard continuously measures the substances reduced at every 10% of the filter's lifespan. For instance, if a filter has a capacity of 10,000 liters, testing is conducted every 1,000 liters. Additionally, tests are conducted on two parallel filters, not just one, to confirm the results.
Compliance with Greek Legislation
Primato's water filters comply with Government Gazette 4973/B/2020. The legislation specifies specific requirements for equipment used for the treatment of water for human consumption within building plumbing networks. Compliance with this legislation ensures that our products are safe and suitable for use in Greece.
Compliance with EN 15161 Standard
Additionally, Primato's water filters comply with the EN 15161 standard, which pertains to the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of water filters. This standard works in conjunction with the EN 14898 standard, enhancing Primato's commitment to adhering to European water guidelines. By following these standards, Primato ensures that its water filters are of excellent quality, providing effective water treatment solutions that meet the needs of modern buildings and their residents.
Through these certifications and compliance with standards, Primato Hellas not only demonstrates its ability to meet strict requirements but also its dedication to providing customers with safe and reliable water filters.
